NEW TO PADDLING?
No problem. Most of us started the same way!
We’ll provide a paddle and a personal flotation device (PFD). Before you hop in the boat, one of our coaches will teach you safety basics and commands. During your first practice, you’ll be surrounded by teammates who will help you get the hang of paddling–and might just become your new friends.
No experience? No gear? No worries. Just bring your energy and curiosity. We’ve got the rest.
Oh, and did we mention? Your first few practices are completely free.
PRACTICE LOCATION
We practice at Lake Merced (1 Harding Road, San Francisco, CA, 94132).
You can find us on the north side of Harding Road, across the parking lot from the boathouse. You’ll probably see us wearing our bright orange Ripple Effect jerseys, parkas, or crocs.
Contact us before you arrive and we’ll make sure to look out for you!
Reach out on our contact page, our Facebook or Instagram pages, or email us at hello@ripplesf.org.
