The NorCal International Dragon Boat Festival is our last race of the season. Teams participating in this race come from all over California, the US, and from other countries. This is the race we have been training for since the beginning of the season and we expect tough competition for all three of our crews.
Another local race in the East Bay at Alameda Point. The distance is only 250m, half of a normal race, but that doesn't mean it'll be easy. With a shorter distance, it will require more intensity as we speed towards the finish. Read about this race written by one of our newly joined paddlers, Julie!
The Vancouver Dragon Boat festival has always been one of the teams's favorite race. It's an away race in another country, but not too far since it's just a bit to the north in Canada. The race has always been well-run without much hiccup. We originally did not plan on attending this year, but with enough interest from the team, it wasn't a hard to get a crew together. The Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival is a two day race, taking place from June 18-19, allowing a full weekend of racing and having fun in a different country.
